About Our Client
A large Birmingham private practice.
You will be joining a large private practice working within the Employment team reporting into one of the team's senior lawyers.
The team works solely on claimant matters and the workload is all litigious. This is a great opportunity to take on a very busy caseload, run your own files (with supervision) and pick up a variety of contentious matters from unfair dismissal through to discrimination claims.
You will have the opportunity to conduct your own advocacy in preliminary matters and there will be lots of client contact.
You will benefit from excellent supervision and training.
The Successful Applicant
It's likely that you will have at least 12 months' experience as a qualified employment solicitor. Ideally you will have experience in claimant work and some experience of doing advocacy at preliminary hearings. This role will not suit somebody who does not have experience in employment law and is looiking to change areas of law.
