Job Description

  • Analyse current and past sales data on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to identify sales patterns and areas for improvement
  • Analyse and produce reports on day-to-day sales productivity
  • Carry out assessments of market data creating reports to identify areas where increased efforts will maximise sales
  • Provide detailed analysis of competitors, their offerings and activity in the market
  • Produce reports on customer demographics with the view to increase sales opportunities
  • Identify sales trends by region, product, revenues and seasonality
  • Model current customer trends in acquisition and attrition
  • Develop projection and forecasts reports showing expected sales and potential effect of new strategics to aid decision-making
  • Gather data and research to guide marketing efforts
  • Examine company budgets to assess and guide investment in marketing and sales promotions
  • Analyst operational budgets to identify business areas that are not providing a return on investment
  • Present reports to company leadership to enable data driven decision making, including market performance, competitor research and general sales trends.
  • Provide advice on increasing revenue and meeting sales goals
  • Present detailed insights, recommendations and feedback on company sales
  • Evaluate and develop pricing proposals

The Successful Applicant

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified, 3-5 years post qualified experience
  • A degree in accounting & finance or related field
  • 3-5 years experience as a Commercial Finance Analyst or similar role
  • Fintech experience desirable
  • A high level of commercial and business acumen
  • Economic and statistical analysis skills including financial modelling
  • Exceptional knowledge and application in the Microsoft suite especially excel
  • Expert knowledge of CRM systems and data analysis
  • High degree of numeracy
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong capability in quantitative analysis
  • Financial management skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and establish priorities
