Job Description

As a Communications and Engagement Specialist you will help to lead on a large transformation change programme looking at ways to improve systems and processes. You will also help to influence and drive both cultural and behavioural changes.

As an experienced communications professional you will help to influence and build strong relationships with a large complex group of stakeholders. You will help to manage the change communications strategy and deliver impactful content.

You will be working across various departments in helping to improve and streamline processes.


As a change communications specialist you will help engage colleagues and other internal and external stakeholder groups.

You will have previously worked as a change communications professional and have the ability to deal with complex stakeholder needs

As a Communications and Engagement Manager you will be designing and leading appropriate communication and engagement activities that support delivery of various projects.

This will include:

  • Identifying stakeholder groups and tailoring communications
  • Developing and implementing creative communication and engagement plans to build engagement and influence behavioural change.
  • Crafting key messages and other creative materials as well as providing service and programme content
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to raise the profile of service transformation and improving the service user experience

The Successful Applicant

As an internal communications engagement and change transformation specialist you will have the following;

  • A proven track record of working as an Internal communications change management professional within a complex environment
  • 5+ years' experience in an internal communications change role
  • Experience of leading communications to support customer engagement and consultation activity
  • A proven track record of working with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • An ability to write and deliver strategy as well as be hand in delivery content to various channels
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to help drive change, influence behaviours and improve processes.
