About Our Client
A London based Housing Association.
Ensuring statutory compliance is managed and monitored effectively, taking a solution focused approach, removing risk to the organisation and identifying and implementing mitigations where complete removal is impossible.
To work with all appropriate teams, consultants and contractors to ensure a coherent approach to all aspects of compliance remedial works for blocks and estates.
To project manage the co-ordination of works to blocks so cyclical and/or major works are undertaken.
Manage issues raised by customers relating to Building Safety and or queries raised via external stakeholders.
Keeping up to date on the changing environment in regards to Building Safety.
Develop and amend policies and procedures as needed and keeping teams briefed and up to date on the changes of our approach.
To identify and take appropriate action to manage risks to the organisation, ensuring the correct communal compliance activities are in place.
Manage complaints and promote high customer service standards.
Provide technical support and expertise to all staff in matters regarding compliance and Building Safety Matters.
Ensure quality and integrity of data into bespoke systems (c365, bespoke housing management systems).
Propose solutions/changes to meet the business needs.
Responsible for preparing specification and cost models pre-tender for remediation works and ongoing repairs. To obtain where necessary quotations and estimates in accordance to procurement procedures.
The Successful Applicant
Extensive technical knowledge of specialist compliance areas and ability to check specifications, design and cost works in order to validate, assure and reduce the organisational risk.
Substantial knowledge and experience of contract administration e.g JCT/NEC/TPC and all relevant building safety legislation and regulations for each service area.
A good standard of general education.
Have a recognised professional qualification or a minimum of 5 year's experience.
Minimum of 3 year's experience of team management.
Experience of working with customers to manage and develop services.
Experience of delivering exceptional performance and meeting key performance indicators for Compliance.
Experience of being creative and demonstrating a customer focused approach to challenges and different viewpoints.
Experience of monitoring and managing budgets, and the ability to analyse financial statistical data to improve performance.
Good personal organisation and a methodical approach to completing tasks.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
