Job Description

  • Assist in the implementation of the QSHE management systems.
  • Audit the management systems against international standards, obligations and activities within the operations of Fleet Solutions to ensure that we protect the interests of the business, our employees, customers and associated third parties.
  • Liaise with certification bodies to ensure compliance with ISO9001,14001 and 18001 / 45001 standards are maintained.
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of the vehicle O license for Fleet Solutions and ensure that our operations don't put the O licenses of our customers at risk.
  • Working knowledge of O Licence and transport compliance to enable effective assistance to customers.
  • Identify areas of non-compliance within the business and liaise with the respective departments to ensure remedial actions are planned and implemented to minimise or mitigate the risk and potential impact on the business
  • Develop and work with department managers to embed a safety and compliance focused culture throughout Fleet solutions.
  • Develop and Maintain Business Continuity Management systems/plans to minimise the impact on operations should an event occur that requires its implementation.
  • Ensure the PCI DSS compliance of the business.
  • Managing Fleet Solutions internal audit programmes
  • Periodical review of QHSE policies, procedures and relating documentations in line with legal and other obligations to which the business subscribes.
  • Provide support with accident and incident investigation whereby the root cause is identified, and remedial actions are implemented so far as reasonably practicable to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide detailed reports and analysis of audit results, Incident and accident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Build a good working relation ship with department managers and customer representatives.
  • Working with our customers and suppliers to help improve QHSE performance across our operations.

The Successful Applicant

This position would suit a qualified internal auditor who has experience across the 3 main standards preferably with a lead auditor qualification who wants to progress their career into Risk & Compliance Management.

· A working knowledge of QHSE law and legislation.

· NEBOSH general certificate

· IEMA Environmental certificate

· Knowledge of business resilience and continuity principles.

· Awareness and understanding of O license compliance.

· PC skills such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Webpages & Email.

· Good communicator at all levels.

· Strong organisational skills.

· Ability to work without supervision.

· Self-Motivation.


  • Internal management systems auditor. ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001
  • Health, Safety & Environmental Management systems knowledge and application
  • Experience in the Health, Safety & Environmental Legal Framework and its application within fleet or transport operations
  • Experience working with quality management systems.
