Job Description
For the successful Compliance Contract Manager they will be required to:
Deliver high quality servicing contracts to our customers providing compliance and high safety standards on time and in budget
Manage contractor performance, productivity, and value for money in a complex working environment whilst achieving high standards
Manage the business relationship with appointed contractors
Drive improvements in service and customer excellence
Ensure Day to Day operations remain within all the Housing Associations health and safety policies
Determine works and progress works that require transfer to capital programmes or leaseholder consultation
Take responsibility for facilitating effective co-operation between relevant stakeholders/partners, share information willingly and appropriately, and collaborate with other departments to improve integration and efficiency
Build a strong customer focus within the team by engaging with, listening, and responding to its tenants in a timely manner
Provide support and guidance to internal teams, such as Customer Relationship and Leasehold Management teams, when operational situations occur
Work in partnership with Repairs and Development to deliver on compliance
The Successful Applicant
The successful Contract Compliance Manager will have the following:
Extensive experience of managing key landlord compliance areas
Strong knowledge of Legionella Regulations ACOP L8 and BS7671 Electrical Wiring Regulations
Ability to work on site unsupervised, using professional skills and judgement to manage works/projects
Ability to write policy, technical reports, and specifications
Evidence of commercial acumen to manage the service within budget
Reliability, flexibility, adaptability, and the need to make decisions quickly is vital as priorities frequently change and information is updated in real time
Ability to undertake site visits for H&S inspections work monitoring, new developments, and liaison with our customers
Ability to be flexible relative to working days and hours
