About Our Client

Our client is a leading public sector service provider.

Job Description

The Contract Manager will be responsible for a wide range of capital works projects ranging in value from £300,000 - £4,500,000. These projects will include new build construction projects as well as refurb and upgrade projects.

You will work with a varied public sector client base which will include education, healthcare and local government and will be responsible for delivering a capital works programme with multiple projects being delivered simultaneously. You will have regular interaction with contractors and clients and must have strong leadership skills to ensure that these relationships are managed professionally and effectively to ensure the overall successful delivery of the capital works.

The projects will be across multiple sites throughout the Midlands region and will require regular travel around the region.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this role, applicants must have prior experience within the service provider sector or for one of the large construction businesses who deliver capital projects to public sector clients.

Our client is looking for an individual who has proven experience of delivering multiple projects simultaneously and also wants this individual to have solid CDM experience.

The role is based out of Birmingham but will require regular travel throughout the Midlands region so applicants must hold a full UK driving license.

What's on Offer

A salary of £65,000 + can be negotiated dependant on experience as well as a car allowance of circa £5,000 + pension + bonus.
