Job Description
As a Corporate Communications Manager you will be required to develop and deliver a robust stakeholder and media strategy. Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Work closely communications professionals at partner companies to communicate our corporate engagement activities and support wider parent company objectives
- Develop and maintain relationships with key local, regional and national media outlets, providing proactive and reactive releases as appropriate
- Support key internal stakeholders on activities and events
- Represent the business as company spokesperson on agreed subjects, presenting written and spoken information in a professional manner
- Build effective relationships with other third-party stakeholders
- Lead on engagement with local, regional, and national media outlets
- Monitor media ad political environment, current affairs and internal issues and provide advisory notices to the team of directors and the wider business as applicable
The Successful Applicant
The successful Corporate Communications candidate will require:
- Experience of managing large scale and VIP events.
- Experience of stakeholder and relationship management
- Experience of crisis management communication management
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders
- Media and PR background (desirable)
