About Our Client
My client are one of the largest retailers in the country, and head-quartered locally in the North West; they pride themselves on the quality of their staff and their ethical values which drive business.
The successful candidate will be involved in all areas of Corporate Development.
Preparing financial models which identify the viability of various strategic decisions, projects, and acquisitions to the business.
You will also pull together strategic proposals for the senior stakeholders/ executive board.
Negotiate legal contracts, liaising with in-house lawyers and external law firms.
Influence wider teams internally and externally in order to develop plans, manage and execute plans once projects are in motion.
Proactively research growth opportunities, in line with the ambitious long term strategy of the group.
Perform financial due-diligence on transactions.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be:
ACA Qualified (or equivalent)
Strong Corporate Finance/ Transactions experience
Financial modelling experience
Flexibility to adapt to change
Excellent communication skills
Strong relationship building skill-set
