About Our Client
My client is a leading international luxury automotive manufacturer. They operate a number of marques and have a UK HQ in Farnborough. Their Data Privacy function is growing with the requirement of a new Data Protection Manager - Automotive.
Job Description
The Data Protection Manager - Automotive will be part of the Compliance team for a leading car manufacturing business reporting into the Head of Data Protection.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the efficacy of notifications to the regulator, privacy notices, data subject rights, privacy impact assessments, privacy audits and subject access requests ensuring that they are responded to within the timescales.
- Responsible for second line monitoring of data and information protection
- Deputises for the Company Data Protection Officer as and when required.
- Oversight and steering of information protection and data protection requirements required by the businesses and monitoring of data protection compliant delivery.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Data Protection Manager - Automotive will have a solid privacy background and operation experience of undertaking:
- DSARs
- DPIAs
- Audits
- ICO engagement
- complaint monitoring.
This client handles high levels of customer data and also financial data so experience of both areas would be beneficial.
