Job Description

A successful Ecommerce Content Manager will be responsible for:

  • The strategy and planning of digital content
  • Product set up and enrichment through content
  • Delivering high quality website content and strong campaigns to support trading performance and Ecommerce KPI's
  • Liaising with third parties to brief, source and deliver content - including UGC
  • Optimise customer journey and retention through analysis and acquisition of onsite behaviour
  • Keyword research/audit and on-site SEO management: titles, tags, descriptions, links, site maps and robots' files, audits and analysis
  • Ability to identify opportunities in customer journey to improve site UX and Testing roadmap

The Successful Applicant

A successful Ecommerce Content Manager will have the following:

  • Experienced in managing the delivery of high-quality website content within a fast-paced retail organisation
  • Project management, able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders to deliver content and campaigns
  • Experienced in working with external digital content agencies
  • Workflow management and resource planning
  • Experience with AB Testing focused on customer journeys
  • Familiarity with Ecommerce tooling: CMS, web analytics, search analytics
  • Understanding and application of SEO for digital content
  • Experience in fashion, beauty, luxury sectors preferred. Experience of working on multiple brands concurrently would also be advantageous.
  • Data driven, understands the interpretation of data to be able to drive decision making and prioritisation
  • Excellent communicator, able to relate to clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Eye for detail, with a strong understanding of the role content plays in driving online sales
  • A multi-tasker and natural planner, able to work effectively across multiple websites
  • Problem solver and team player, willing to roll up sleeves and get stuck into whatever is needed to drive results within a start-up environment
