Job Description

The successful Trading Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing yearly, quarterly and monthly commercial plan optimised for brand by aligning division's ranging/pricing/promotion
  • Strategise traffic/conversion/AOV plan per key subcategory working with analytic/marketing teams.
  • Develop/deliver always on proposition to buy from brand, across key pillars of affordability(finance options), unique valuable offers, cross-divisional or customised exclusive offers
  • Together with our monitor(display) Divisions, develop and agree the promotional plans that will enable us to achieve our Commercial Targets: Revenue target, Traffic numbers, Product mix, Conversion rate targets, AOV (bundles), Margin targets etc
  • Continually analyse/evaluate trading performance, share the effectiveness of proposition and promotional mechanics to identify and deliver continuous revenue improvements
  • Produce / share weekly trading performance report for key partners (division/online team)
  • Collaborate closely with the CE Marketing Lead and digital manager on Affiliate Marketing plans to ensure they are fully briefed to maximise the benefits from proposition and promotional plan

The Successful Applicant

The successful Trading Manager will have:

  • Experience working in an ecommerce team and sales-led environment
  • Experience working in consumer electronics industry or retail
  • Strong analytical skills & commercial skills, with ability to identify and deliver new opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills, good partner management, and ability to build strong networks across the organisation
  • Ability to continually re-prioritise and work at speed
  • Commercial creativity: pushing the boundary to build innovative consumer propositions
  • A strong desire to keep driving improvement.
