Job Description

  • Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
  • Identifying and rectifying electrical faults in a timely manner
  • Ensuring all work carried out complies with health and safety regulations
  • Managing stock of electrical parts and equipment
  • Implementing improvements to electrical systems and processes
  • Collaborating with other members of the engineering and manufacturing team
  • Documenting all electrical work carried out
  • Participating in shift handover meetings

The Successful Applicant

A successful Electrical Shift Engineer should have:

  • Relevant educational qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Practical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work well in a team and to communicate effectively
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
