Since their founding a few years ago, my client has rapidly scaled to become a global brand with fast-growing operations in the UK and US. They are now a well-established consultancy and a leader in the finance systems transformation space.This Engagement Manager (Finance Transformation) role is a key London-based hire and will oversee a small portfolio of projects, servicing a broad list of clients (including a good number of FTSE listed businesses).This is a fantastic change to join a rapidly scaling management consultancy and help drive the next stage of their expansion.

Job Description

The Role

This Engagement Manager (Finance Transformation) will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Project Management: oversee the end-to-end delivery of large-scale finance transformation projects from initial brief to go-live. Managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Business Development: support and lead on identification of cross-selling activities and expanding project scope to help deliver growth
  • Coaching/Mentoring: upskilling junior team members to instil best practices and help with their development

The Successful Applicant

What's Needed

  • A strong, proven background in consulting and project management (ideally within finance systems transformation)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology - requirements gathering, design, build/test and deploy
  • Subject matter expertise preferably in one or more of the following: consolidation systems, planning, compliance / regulatory, Solvency II, IFRS16, IFRS17 or automation
  • Able to commute to Central London (2-3 days per week)
