EMEA is a key region for RWC and is entering an exciting phase in their development with a mandate for growth. The EMEA business has a need to appoint an Engineering Director.

Job Description

Reporting to the Operations Director EMEA the key responsibilities will include: As a member of the Operations Leadership Team the Engineering Director will play a key role in supporting the ongoing development and review of the strategy for the region Developing and deploying an engineering strategy focussed on investment in new tooling (significantly injection moulding) and automation equipment to meet the growth & continuous improvement targets of the business and introduction of new products Overseeing the day to day management of the engineering function ensuring resources are utilised to meet the demands of the business Partnering Sales and New Product Development ensuring new product introductions projects (tooling and automation) are completed on time and to budget Providing strong and inspirational leadership to c70 staff ensuring the business has the technical capability to meet the current and future needs of the business Ensuring all engineering facilities, new equipment (manufacturing and engineering) and operating processes meet health and safety legislative and industry standards Promoting an environment where teamwork, open communication, continuous improvement is maintained.

The Successful Applicant

Prospective candidates will be of graduate calibre with a demonstrable track record of success in significant engineering leadership roles in high growth manufacturing businesses. You will have an excellent mix of strategic and operational experience coupled with excellent technical background. Of equal importance are strong leadership skills coupled with an excellent commercial awareness. In addition, you will have outstanding interpersonal skills that will enable you to embrace and drive an open and service focused culture in this market leading business.
