About Our Client
Marina Developments Ltd is the UK's leading Marina Operator. Its property business, MDL Estates, manages a mixed-use portfolio with over 500 tenants across 19 locations spanning the South West, South Coast, and South East of the UK, and two sites in Spain and Italy.
Joining the Estates team and reporting to the Property Director, the Estates Manager will be responsible for the development and management of a regional portfolio of Marina Estates.
The Estates Manager will ensure that a high quality and customer orientated service is provided to the varied Commercial and Residential tenants at each location, ensuring the profit potential of each estate is maximised.
Key responsibilities include:
- Estate management and lettings
- Rent reviews and lease renewals
- Service charge and repairs
- Statutory compliance
- Asset management and investment opportunities
- Vacant property and rates
- Outstanding stakeholder and relationship management with tenants and Marina management teams.
The position will be based from MDL's Head Office in Ocean Village Southampton, or remotely at one of the Marina Estates with travel to Head Office as required.
The Successful Applicant
You will be either a MRICS or FRICS qualified Chartered Surveyors with experience in a similar Estates Management role, ideally with experience in a client-side / landlord capacity.
You will be professional and proactive in approach, with outstanding relationship building and customer service skills. You will be capable to take ownership for your portfolio of Marina properties, with the ability to work effectively with the Property Director and wider Estates team.
Appropriate candidates are likely to be based in Devon, Dorset or Hampshire with the ability to travel between Marinas and to the Head Office in Southampton as required.
