My client is a leading designer and UK manufacturer of products and solutions for use in minimally invasive surgery. Established for over 30 years the business has grown from strength to strength, creating cutting edge products putting them ahead of their competition. Due to their success they are now looking to add to their team a dedicated and passionate European Sales Manager.

Job Description

This role will be responsible for:

  • Developing and growing new business across your dedicated territories
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities, generating new leads, qualifying prospects and managing the complete sales process
  • Building and nurturing relationships within your existing portfolio
  • Managing you sales pipeline effectively to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Closing sales across the full portfolio of products and future products that are continually being developed
  • Creating and delivering sales propositions to potential new customers
  • Market and competitor analysis to keep ahead of industry trends

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must:

  • Be able to demonstrate success in a business development role
  • Have worked with medical distributors across Europe
  • Have experience within the medical devices sector, ideally in an invasive product category
  • Posses knowledge of product training and working in theatre environments
  • The role will require extensive travel across Europe so you must be able to accommodate this
  • Language experience is ideal, either German, Spanish or French
  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate at all levels of business
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
  • Someone who is looking to take the next step in their career from a support role into a sales role will also be considered if you posses the right skills and attitude to succeed in a sales position
