It is one of England's finest 18th century country houses, with a magnificent collection of fine and decorative arts; an accredited museum, with a nationally designated collection, it is also the family seat of the Earl and Countess of Harewood.Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for the operational management and smooth day-to-day running of Harewood's properties and facilities focusing on their maintenance, cleanliness and security.You will lead and embed a culture of health & safety through the implementation and delivery of policies and procedures alongside managing the regulatory requirements of a heritage site.You will line manage around 4 members of staff including cleaning and facilities coordinator and you will manage all external contractors. You will be responsible for keeping compliance for all H&S legislation, Fire Risk, Leigonella, Asbestos etc and setting up and creating procedures around this.The Successful ApplicantWe are ideally looking for an experienced facilities manager, comfortable with line management and able to communicate effectively at all levels. You will need to be a self - starter, able to investigate and seek information from various sources. You will have to collate historic data, and implement new policies for managing safety and compliance registers. You will ideally have some qualifications in Facilities Management such as IOSH or NEBOSH, COSHH or another applicable qualification.What's on OfferSalary of up to £37,00040 hours per week.
