About Our Client

I'm currently working with a large Council who are looking to appoint a high calibre Finance Analyst specialising in the Treasury and Capital space on an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of going permanent.

Job Description

Reporting into the Head of Finance for Treasury and Capital you will be responsible for:

  • Posting all Treasury related journals
  • Assisting in answering external and internal audit
  • Assisting in the preparation of Treasury interest cost forecasts, Strategic Plan and budget
  • Producing, monitoring and developing the Treasury cash flow forecasts
  • Process cash flows
  • Preparation of all BAU and ad hoc Treasury internal and external reports

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Applicant:

  • Qualified Accountant with Treasury experience
  • Previously worked within a Public Sector environment - specifically council
  • Immediate available or available at a short notice (2 weeks or less)

What's on Offer

  • Initial 6 month contract with an opportunity to go permanent
  • Daily rate between £350 and £400 per day
