Job Description
- Provide financial analysis across the commercial group to support the achievement of ambitious business growth objectives.
- Extract and analyse data from core systems to provide insight into profitability, capacity management, costing and pricing techniques across all business areas, in a complex service led commercial enterprise.
- Liaise with internal colleagues to understand the nuances of each business area and the organisation as a whole in order to provide fit for purpose recommendations.
- Develop and present commercial insights into key business drivers, summarising key trends and providing recommendations that will support development of a strategic growth plan.
- Present recommendations to senior management that will streamline activities and create efficiency's to enhance profitability.
- Support the roll out of improved cost control and forecasting capabilities, e.g. new system or process implementations, working closely with existing finance and operations teams.
- Work collaboratively to gain agreement of the best methods of introducing improvements based on the data analysis.
- Support the annual budgeting process.
The Successful Applicant
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Strong technical knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge of basic data modelling techniques.
- Working knowledge of relevant business management principles.
- Expertise in identifying and analysing key business and profit drivers.
- Experience working in service organisations.
- Experience of small system implementations and business process mapping.
- Experience of developing a capacity management tool.
