About Our Client

Job Description
- representing finance within workshops/discussions of future processes & procedures
- being the main conduit between project and the finance department to relay information & decisions in both directions
- manage & mentor 2 Super Users from the Finance department
- with the help of Super Users and self-gathering of information, inform other work streams of the 'as-is' finance processes
- articulate and explain financial terms, process and areas of challenge to non-finance team members
- actively manage the finance stakeholders expectations, make assumptions explicit and all tasks on the RAID Log up to date
- gathering, documenting and building a work-flow for future processes, training material and test scenarios
- help execute UAT test cases & defect resolution
- lead data cleansing and migration tasks within area of influence
- lead training activities with the end users of the finance department
- understanding business change needs, assessing and documenting the impact of those changes
- Co-ordinate go-live from Finance perspective
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified accountant with 5+ years PQE
- Considerable business analysis and business process re-engineering experience
- Experience of working with and implementing finance ERP systems globally - experience of working with Infor Syteline would be an advantage
- A high level of process documentation gap analysis and workflow mapping experience with the ability to adopt a collaborative approach with other workstreams
- Experience in working on business transformational, multi-year projects
- Knowledge of leading a financial operation - hands-on experience required
- Clear understanding of what good finance process and control frameworks look like and experience of implementing projects to improve finance processes
- Ability to work with distributed work streams and keep every-one aligned on goals and deadlines whilst partially working remotely
- Strong communication, both verbal and written with good interpersonal skills
- Good time management and ability to multi-task
- Previous task-assignment
