Job Description

  • Lead and manage a small team of Company Accountants
  • Oversee financial compliance and risk management
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff
  • Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
  • Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends
  • Develop financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
  • Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organisations

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA or similar
  • Proven experience in a finance team leader role
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
  • Proficiency in use of finance software
