The Finance Manager will play a significant role in the financial management of this media company within their TV production arm in a position that has a healthy blend of financial and management accountancy and FP&A. Here they will be responsible for the day-to-day processes including budgeting, analysing costs, overseeing contracts and will report directly into the Financial Controller with plenty of senior stakeholder interaction and engagement.

About Our Client

Our client is a large player in the Telecommunications & Media industry, with a well-established presence in the market and a reputation for delivering high-quality TV production content and services. Having created a strong portfolio of media content since the mid 20th century, my client is now looking to invest further in their TV production and dramatic series business, and need a Finance Manager with strong technical accountancy experience and leading projects to come on board and support their new ventures.

Job Description

  • Oversee all day-to-day financial operations within the TV production division of the company.
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller on a daily basis.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Manage budgeting and financial planning processes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
  • Aid with the rollout of the company's new ERP finance system MS Dynamics.
  • Liaise with other departments and the Group Financial team to improve financial performance and strategy.

The Successful Applicant

A successful applicant will have:

  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Strong proven track record in financial management and reporting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office - particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior transferable stakeholder engagement and management skills.
