Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Oversee purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budget management.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely payment processing.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective purchasing strategies.
  • Respond to queries related to financial and procurement processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Officer should have:

  • At least 3 years experience in accounting and finance roles.
  • Immediate availability.
  • Ability to commute to Maidenhead five days a week.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and procurement processes.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • An understanding of the not-for-profit sector is advantageous.
