Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities to support organisational planning.
  • Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
  • Coordinate and support audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to queries.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial operations with organisational goals

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Operations Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in managing financial operations, accounting and financial reporting within the not-for-profit sector or a similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations in charity or housing sector
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
