Finance Operations Manager

The Finance Operations Manager will report into the Financial Controller for the Shared Service Centre and will have the following responsibilities:

• Manage the AP, AR, Treasury and VAT teams to ensure high quality deliverables are provided to all relevant stakeholders within the agreed timescales.

• Overseeing financial control and accounting functions to ensure the highest standard of service, along with helping the Financial Controller drive process and system improvements.

• Providing continuous training and development of the team. Lead and motivate the team to high levels of performance

• Own the MI reporting to all stakeholders ensuring it succinctly communicates, issues and actions to improve the results.

• Developing a strong relationship with the SSC Financial Controller and the Financial Controllers at each of our operating companies.

• Oversee Month End Close of all ledgers

• Authorisation of Journal Entries as required

• Ensure compliance with financial controls

• Oversee Year-end Close

• Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of all Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and financial accounting duties

• Review & sign off the balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the Finance Team and provide relevant feedback and actions to be taken

• Review VAT returns for OpCo's

• Maintaining process workflows, procedures and management information for all areas under finance shared service centre ("SSC") responsibility.

• Identify areas for process improvement, obtain stakeholder approval and ensure they are implemented in line with the approved plan.

• Developing, managing and challenging the finance SSC key performance indicators, and continually review to maximise efficiency of the finance function.
