This organisation are one of the leaders in their sector with a turnover of £360.5m and a strong national presence. The Finance Performance Manager will be based in Oldham.

Job Description

  • Ensure financial performance information is accurate and robust, through the continual review of systems, processes and production of necessary reports.
  • Oversee the integration between works management, payroll and finance systems. Ensure that effective mechanisms are in place to identify and address integration failures on a timely basis.
  • Engage and build relationships with key stakeholders across the company to ensure engagement and ownership lead to sustained end to end process reviews resulting in continually improved financial performance reporting.
  • Ensure that the accounts hierarchy is effectively developed and maintained to deliver streamlined reporting and granular analysis of activity across workstreams and geographical areas.
  • Work with Finance Partners to deliver accurate and timely management accounts through the definition and delivery of smooth and effective month end processes.
  • Undertake detailed financial analysis to inform and support budget setting, performance reporting and forecasting and provide analysis and reports in line with stakeholder requirements.
  • Develop dashboards that report on past and forecast future performance to enable performance management at different levels across company.
  • Develop and provide support on projects to deliver continuous improvement in the delivery of financial and management accounting.
  • Manage and motivate team members to deliver a high-quality finance and management information service.

The Successful Applicant

The Finance Performance Manager will possess the following:

  • Experience of understanding and working effectively with Financial Systems to deliver improvements, ideally Oracle Cloud.
  • Experienced in complex financial and work management systems.
  • Experience of developing complex reports using a range of report writing tools.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Good attention to detail with ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet deadlines
  • Experience of reviewing and analysing business processes to achieve financial improvements.
  • Excellent oral and written communications.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
