Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements in line with applicable standards.
  • Oversee internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Maintain and improve financial controls to safeguard organisational assets.
  • Provide technical accounting support to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant - Audit should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit processes and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience within the not-for-profit sector or a similar environment is preferred but not essential
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
