Job Description

  • You will manage an Accounts Payable Clerk and oversee the accounting operations including, payroll processes, cash flow management, assisting in the preparation of the statutory accounts and liaising closely with the external auditors.
  • Producing the consolidated accounts.
  • Oversee the transactional processing and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist on budget holder queries & support the Finance Business Partner, providing data where necessary.
  • Prepare financial reports in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.
  • Key point of contact for auditors & audit processes.
  • Work closely with the Head of Finance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • Part/ full accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
  • Charity sector experience & knowledge in SORP, UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Experience managing accounts payable, payroll processing, cash flow and assisting in the statutory accounts prep.
  • Experience managing would be advantageous.
