Job Description
- Responsible for producing accurate and timely management accounts
- Producing monthly reporting requirements
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT returns and point of contact with HMRC
- Inter company statement and reconciliations and liaison with inter company partners
- Point of contact for both internal and external audit queries
- Produce monthly reforecasts, annual budgets and long range plans, working with the leadership teams based both in the UK and US
- Provide financial oversight and leadership for the business, and sharing insights through monthly and quarterly reporting at leadership staff meetings
- Prepare and interpret operating results as they affect the financial aspects of progress towards financial objectives in annual budgets, plans and projections
- Analyse KPI's (incl. Profitability, sales growth and expenses) for key monthly variances and prepare meaningful commentary for leadership
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified Accountant
- Commercial exposure and understanding
- Manufacturing/ FMCG experience would be advantageous
- Strong excel skills
