Job Description

  • Leading on the production of the monthly management accounts. Processing all accruals, prepayments, deferred income and all other monthly journals.
  • Analysis of variances in the management account reports at both the company and house level.
  • Manage the monthly payroll process, including managing the HMRC and pension accounts.
  • Manage and support the various financial systems (Sage 200, Sage 50 Payroll, Egress and Expensein).
  • Coordinate the annual audit and work collaboratively with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
  • Conduct internal audits with the homes.
  • Manage the service users benefits.
  • Liaising with managerial staff, colleagues, client appointees and external parties.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice.
  • Ensuring compliance of GDPR.
  • Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience of working in an SME
  • Experience of running payroll process and producing management accounts
  • Highly numerate
  • Experience in Sage 200 and Sage 50
  • High level of systems/IT literacy
  • Good communication skills
