Job Description

  • Oversee and complete the month end process.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow and monitor financial performance against targets.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external auditors as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A experienced management accountant with experience within an SME, QBE's considered
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proven experience in managing financial operations within the business services industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to support decision-making.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to present financial information clearly and concisely.
