About Our Client
My client is NYSE listed and a industry leading renewable energy giant. Due to a period of natural growth, my client is looking to appoint a high calibre Financial Controller to lead their dynamic finance team.
This individual will be fully qualified with experience working in a large organisation with exposure to IFRS/US GAAP.
Job Description
Reporting into an impressive Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting in setting up financial processes and best practices as projects transition from construction to operations
- Analysing financial information necessary to complete the month-end accounting close
- Preparing/Reviewing balance sheet account analyses and reconciliations to supporting documentation for all the UK/Europe entities
- Interacting with auditors and assist with the preparation and documentation to support both internal and external audits.
- Working with the advisors and tax team to support the preparation of the corporation tax returns for various entities
- Support Preparation of VAT returns for the various entities.
The Successful Applicant
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or overseas equivalent)
- Up to date knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
- Experience preparing VAT returns within a larger company
- Immediately available or available at a short notice period (1 week)
- Experience in Renewable or harder industry highly preferred
