About Our Client
Our client has a fantastic reputation within the legal industry, the financial services team advises many of the world's leading banks and providing counsel on innovative PPPs worldwide, including approximately 250 in Europe. They act for major clients including domestic and international banks, insurers, hedge funds, private banks, fund managers and brokers. They are looking for a Financial Services Disputes Solicitor to work on a major project for a client.
The role will support the Financial Services Disputes & Investigations team on a large piece of work for a key client. You will play a pivotal role reporting into a senior lawyer/supervisor assisting them in the day to day management of their paralegal team, and dealing with more complex cases.The team is looking for two types of candidate:
Civil litigators with recent experience of taking cases to either small claims or fast track trials, with a detailed understanding of the CPR, specifically disclosure, witness evidence and trial stages of a matter who can work directly with a supervisor dealing with more complex cases, and help junior colleagues with issues.
A Solicitor to work in the Trial Support Unit, where your duties will include reviewing a file to ensure all directions and court orders have been complied with, assessing the evidence available to form a view on prospects of success, making or supporting others in making final preparations for trial and providing a brief to counsel, as well as advising the client and less experienced case handlers on an action plan if required.

You will be a Solicitor with experience of civil litigation looking for a new role as a Financial Services Disputes Solicitor.
