Job Description
The Fleet Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Developing strategies and implementing action plans to increase the use of Alcoa aluminium wheels for Commercial Vehicle (Truck, Bus, Trailer) versus steel wheels by convincing transportation fleets.
- Working with our distributors to develop business opportunities.
- The incumbent is primarily accountable to develop their fleets at all levels and to convince these contacts to purchase Alcoa wheel products.
- The incumbent maintains contacts to the tyre, suspension, axle and wheel attachment manufacturers and truck and trailer dealers.
The Successful Applicant
Applicants should have the following:
- A bachelor degree or equivalent by experience.
- Gained experience in field sales and selling high value products.
- Knowledge of the commercial transportation business is an asset.
- Motivated, passionate and results driven.
- Are reliable and an autonomous/self starter.
- Are accountable and a solution provider.
- Have experience of home working is desirable.
- Able to cover a large territory Midlands / South.
