About Our Client

My client are a well know Financial Services business in the heart of London.

Job Description


  • Lead the production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts and related reports for the Group and entities
  • Support the production of the quarterly financial reports to the LME Group Boards
  • Provide business partnering support to functions
  • Support the production of the annual budget
  • Support the monthly rolling forecast process including sensitivity analysis. Responsible for identifying and explaining variances

Revenue Accounting

  • Responsible for the month-end ledger close processes in respect of revenue and income including all journal postings and general ledger reconciliations
  • Responsible for ensuring all revenue and income accounting is accurate and in compliance with IFRS accounting standards, supporting the Head of Financial Accounting
  • Responsible for treasury income analysis, accruals and reconciliations
  • Support the production of revenue-related analysis for forecasts, and regular and ad hoc reporting on new initiatives and projects
  • Develop and improve revenue reporting systems and processes
  • Ensure relevant financial controls are robust, highlight issues and propose solutions
  • Provide supervision, oversight and support to the accounts receivable associate - including review and co-ordination of ad hoc and monthly invoice runs and monitoring of debtors
  • Manage customer standing data ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date across all relevant systems


  • Develop implement and manage relevant templates and guidance for Finance and other users
  • Support regulatory reporting activities (FATCA, CRS)
  • Provide secondary support on Treasury activities
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required

The Successful Applicant

  • Required: Experience with IFRS technical accounting issues, in particular accounting for financial assets such as debt securities and investment portfolios
  • Required: Advanced MS Excel, Powerpoint, competent using MS Word.
  • Required: Experience managing a small team
  • Preferred: PowerBI and/or Python experience
  • Preferred: Oracle Financials and Hyperion Budgeting experience
  • Preferred: Financial services experience
