Job Description

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives for Ireland.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards and local regulations.
  • Team Management: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Client and Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders, enhancing the company's reputation and market presence.
  • Financial Management: Take responsibility for the financial performance of the region, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and challenges.

The Successful Applicant

The successful General Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as a General Manager / Managing Director or in a similar capacity and ready to take the #1 position leading a business.
  • A successful track background in the system integrator, business services or aligned industries will be a distinct advantage.
  • Familiarity with working within a European/US business environment.
  • Advanced communication and leadership skills are required, as is the need for advanced project management skills.
  • Advanced coaching, mentoring, and excellent leadership and a people centric approach.
  • Strong understanding of the Irish market and business environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills necessary to resolve problems and look for solutions.
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting and handling complex or multiple jobs.
  • Expert ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members.
  • Seeking to join a people focused business with ambitious growth targets.
