About Our Client
Leading sales promotion agency focused on the consumer electronics market who consult on and manage compelling sales promotion campaigns designed to drive sales uplift.
Based in Hammersmith and working with a considerable number of global, market leading FTS 100 companies.
- You will build and develop relationships within the client's various divisions to further develop our strategic partnership
- You will gain a deep understanding of the client's business, challenges and their position in the market to proactively propose campaigns using different rewards and mechanics to develop a pipeline of promotions
- You will be responsible for identifying creative new opportunities having assessed commercial feasibility for the client
- Proactively generate new Sales Promotion opportunities within Client Account
- Provide a consultative approach to selling with demonstration of understanding of clients' product portfolio, business, objectives and the challenges they face in their market
- Assist clients in creating promotional strategy to create differentiation in the marketplace
- Prospect for new clients within the defined verticals
- Analyse promotional trends and regularly present insights to your clients, using this an opportunity to sell
- Act as the key contact for clients within their region with rhythm of business for clients as required including ad-hoc meetings and quarterly business reviews
- Attend 1+ face to face client meetings a week
- Understand your clients and the challenges they face in their market and create solutions to meet these challenges
- Attend select networking events and trade shows as required
- Be a consultant to your clients, monitoring and reporting on the clients' competitor activity
- Deliver against monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets in addition to business objectives set by the company
- Work closely with Project Management team to deliver the Sales Promotion campaigns
The Successful Applicant
You will be based in Hammersmith, London but it is ESSENTIAL that you are fluent in either German or French or both as you will be supporting the European expansion of our client's key clients.
- A proven account manager with a track record in account development & growth; ideally you will have worked closely with one or a small number of clients at any one time as opposed to 'on mass' account management
- A passion to go above and beyond for clients
- Competitive, self-motivated and driven to succeed
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Commercial acumen and excellent business development skills
It is highly desirable that you have worked in the sales promotions industry or have worked with consumer electronics in some capacity.
What's on Offer
Our client are looking to pay £35-40k base salary dependant on experience with c.£50k OTE.
