About Our Client
The client is a forward thinking, innovative manufacturing business, driven by new technology.
The Head of Infrastructure and Operations is the highest role in the infrastructure and operations function within IT, accountable for IT throughout the organisation globally.
The head of I&O brings current knowledge and future vision for transforming the I&O function including its strategy, technology, service offerings and workforce. The role holder is a senior stakeholder in all relationships with externally sourced infrastructure and operations capabilities.
As a key member of the senior IT leadership team this role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy and is responsible for ensuring I&O strategy is fully aligned, positioning I&O to deliver compelling business value.
The Successful Applicant
Educated to University degree level or above, candidates should have demonstrable experience of leading a global team, with expertise of managing Infrastructure and Operations from a large multinational business.
Experience of setting an operations and infrastructure strategy and delivering that through directing a large team is essential. Use of SAP would be beneficial.
