A fast paced, dynamic environment - the role itself will be wide ranging and has strong commercial and relationship management elements to it where you will have full end-to-end P&L responsibility for one of the tech groups entities.

Job Description

  • Ownership of the P&L account, balance sheet, budget & forecasting activities.
  • Preparation of month end for both the profit and loss account and balance sheet.
  • Commercial price changes and all associated activity.
  • Accounts Payable & Accounts receivable.
  • Full ownership of month end tasks from preparation through to posting journals and reconciliations.
  • Production of financial statements and applications.
  • Preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required.
  • Support the year end Audit process.
  • Preparation of month end Packs
  • Balance sheet reconciliations

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group FM should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within the professional services industry.
  • Relevant professional qualifications in finance or accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proficiency in financial management systems and software.
  • A solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
