Job Description

As Group Financial Accountant, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare annual financial statements ensuring compliance with FRS101 and other legal requirements
  • Support the coordination of year-end process of the annual financial statements of Group
  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure year-end timetables are met
  • Work collaboratively with other finance teams to ensure auditor requests are met in an efficient and timely manner
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with internal tax team and preparing "tax packs" to assist CT computations and notes to the financial statements
  • Prepare required accounting entries for legal entity acquisitions
  • Provide technical accounting and regulatory reporting
  • Prepare regulatory and external reports and associated supporting documentation
  • Ad hoc support to wider finance team

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Knowledge of FRS 101, IFRS
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Ability to influence and build good working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
