Job Description

Group Procurement Manager - Canterbury

  • Manage and drive a consistent and professional approach to Procurement across all Group Companies providing best practice support for Purchasing, Tendering, Sourcing and Cost Saving activities.
  • You will manage all indirect spend across a range of sites in the UK, covering Utilities, Fuel, Construction, Fleet, Site Services, Engineering, and CAPEX.
  • Stakeholder management, both top down and bottom up
  • Negotiating contracts/rates to ensure best value for money/quality of service
  • Developing and implementing supply strategies for key commodities

The Successful Applicant

Group Procurement Manager - Canterbury

To be successful you will:

  • Have experience in either the manufacturing or construction industry
  • Have experience procuring the full set of categories within this role (Utilities, Fuel, Construction, Fleet, Site Services, Engineering and CAPEX)
  • Be happy managing procurement across a multi site environment
  • Be able to lead on large complex procurement projects
  • Have a track record of providing savings
  • Hold a relevant qualification (Degree or CIPS)
