Lead and manage the business processes team creating a centre of excellence
About Our Client
Commercial business with a turnover in excess of £200 million with HQ based in Birmingham area.
Develop and lead a highly efficient, flexible and responsive business processing department. To ensure that all business processes are well designed, fit-for-purpose and operate effectively to meet operational and corporate service department's needs.
Lead, manager and motivate the business process team, to ensure they deliver on service level agreements and provide a first class customer service experience by the processes, measures and controls used.
Work collaboratively with senior managers across the business to influence and develop the vision and innovation on the processes for the future ways of working, whilst embracing new ways of working and the digital transformation agenda.
Manage the operational support and business processing functions, to support debt collection process ensuring effective service, processes and controls are in place to manage arrears performance and settlement of liabilities.
Maintain overall responsibility for a number of key areas to include; cash collections, procure to pay function, payroll, supplier invoicing, cash allocations/ ledger/cash book posting activity and other transactional business processing activities as required.
Develop and regularly review the business processes department's strategy in line with overall strategies and priorities. Identify if other corporate or operational teams processes or any existing business processes within the function would be more effective within the business-processing department
The Successful Applicant
Qualified in any CCAB / MBA / Prince2 / Lean Six Sigma
Proven experience of managing large teams
Project Management Desirable
