A regional law firm based in the Midlands.

Job Description

This is a great opportunity to head up the Litigation team of a high street practice based in the West Midlands. There is no need for a client following - the team is busy and there is a loyal client base.

You will be in charge of a small team of lawyers and will be responsible for management of the team and working on your own caseload of contentious matters.

The team deal with everything from contractual disputes through to employment and contested probate matters.

This will suit a general litigation practitioner who is looking for a senior role within a friendly, long established law firm.

Please note that due to the management responsibilities, this is an office based role.

The Successful Applicant

It's likely that you will be an experienced civil litigation solicitor with at least 5y PQE. You could be an existing Head of Department looking for a new challenge or a mid level lawyer looking to step up. Our client will consider candidates with a range of PQE. As mentioned above, the firm are looking for a lawyer who is happy to be office based.
