Job Description
As the Head of Communications, you will be responsible for strategic planning and delivery of communications activity you will be involved in change communications and leading the organisation through a transformation period.
- Lead the development and delivery of an internal communications programme to engage
- Manage the communications team and lead on external affairs activity, including reputation management activity and media relations
- Help to manage key stakeholders and the wider community whist promoting key brand message
- Management the internal and external digital communications channels
The Successful Applicant
Essential Skills
- Managed large teams as a Head of Communications in a Not for Profit or Public Sector environment
- Experience of managing large budgets and working on a leadership team
- Previous led on a strategic level and helped to drive transformation and change programmes. It is essential that you have driven a change agenda at a senior level
- Ability to manage senior stakeholder both internal and external of the organisation
- You will be a senior communications leader who has a broad communications skill-set and who understands media, digital and internal channels to market
What's on Offer
£salary competitiveThe role is for 12 months with potential to go permanent. You must be available to start within 4 weeks of appointment and be able to be office based 1-2 days a week in Manchester
