About Our Client
My client is one of the true global leaders within their industry with instantly recognisable products and brands.
Job Description
The Head of eCommerce & DIY will:
- manage the ecommerce channel within the UK market
- maximise sales through the web, both direct and via existing distribution channels and key accounts
- encourage both new and existing business opportunities though effective marketing and brand promotions
- generate increased sales through the online channel each year
- identify and pursue all opportunities to sell directly online
- develop a clear and effective customer strategy alongside other european markets and key accounts
- manage ecommerce key accounts to optimise my client's P&L on the top etailers and the web-focused divisons of the large wholesales / customers also
- develop, implement and execute sales strategies in line with the international strategy for key accounts to deliver agreed targets
- support the key account management team in their achievement of agreed goals
- fundamentally drive sales growth across all channels including showroom, DIY and OTC
The Successful Applicant
The Head of eCommerce & DIY will come with:
- proven track record of new business development and sales growth through key online and offline customers but with an expertise in online of late
- excellent key account management skills and experience with large retailers and multi-channel
- at least three years experience of managing Amazon as a senior sales person i.e. SNAM or Acc Director
- people management experience, leading and building high performing commercial teams
- string commercial and negotiaiton mindset, track record of high level sales negotiations
- a consumer goods (physical products) background - FMCG / CPG
- strong leadership and influencing skills, a flair for growth and development
- gravitas - able to flex up and down the levels of a business with ease
- ideally commutable to the West London area (near Twickenham) a few times per week
