Job Description
The Head of Ecommerce will be responsible for
- P&L of all Ecommerce sales channels - D2C, Amazon and etail
- Have hands on responsibility for day to day trading of the d2c site across UK & Ireland and manage the other ecommerce sales channels - getting involved in annual negotiations
- Manage a team of 4 direct reports - some of which have their own direct reports - galvanise, engage and develop team members and performance for cohesive approach and nurture ideas and opportunities for team to step up
- Manage key stakeholders internally including MD (line manager), Marketing department, Finance and other business units
- Drive sustainable and ambitious growth across all sales channels and run day to day activities to meet long term strategy.
- Keeping Ecommerce in the best possible shape over the next 12-14 months
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Head of Ecommerce will
- Have be from a D2C ecommerce background and be operating at a Senior Manager or Head of level
- Have great understanding of other online sales channels and have experience of dealing directly with Amazon or other key etailers.
- Have strong leadership skills and be able to manage, develop and engage a high performing team
- Be keen to take a hands on approach to a "head of" level role and not be afraid to take the lead on projects and day to day tasks leading by example
- Have experience working in fast paced, lean business environments where their brand has punched above their weight.
- Be able to commute to London and to key etail partners where appropriate.
- Be happy to work a maternity cover contract of 12-14 months
- Ideally be able to start immediately or within a month.
