Our client is a public sector organisation based in Wolverhampton.

Job Description

  • Oversee all compliance, risk and safety matters within the Estates team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the highest level of safety across the estate.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits as required.
  • Advise on compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Lead the team in the implementation of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Manage the reporting and investigation of incidents and near misses.
  • Provide training and support to staff in relation to compliance, risk, and safety.
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Estates - Compliance, Risk & Safety should have:

  • An academic qualification in Health and Safety or a related field.
  • A qualification in the field of fire safety
  • Experience in managing compliance, risk and safety within a large organization.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
