A Programme Director / Manager will report to this position with a dedicated team of 20 who will action the ERP implementation. This team is in place.This role is very much a leadership role where you will holistically drive the transformation forward, liaise with senior stakeholders and constructively challenge, unblock and drive the transformation. Strong leadership experience is therefore key to this role.Finance is going through a cultural transformation to become more strategic, adding value and strengthening its partnering approach in how it engages colleagues at all levels across the bank. A key part of this upgrade of our underlying systems and the Finance Transformation Programme is critical to shaping the successful Finance function of the future.Key responsibilities:Lead the team to shape the direction of the Finance transformation in relation to the technical specifications and the changes to the process and operating model that will support the system transformation. The successful candidate will have a Programme Director / Manager report to them with a dedicated team of 20 who will action the implementation. Key to this role is leading the team, and liaising with senior stakeholders, constructively challenging, potentially unblocking and moving the transformation forward to successful implementation.The role will be a core member of the Banks Finance Leadership Team (FLT).The role will be instrumental in driving the transformation project to streamline Finance, Procurement and recruitment for a single source of truth.The role will ensure the new finance, procurement and recruitment systems are configured efficiently to provide data that can be used across the Bank to make informed decisions.Through engagement with Executive level Bank-wide stakeholders and end users of the system provide insightful input to set the vision and strategy for the finance aspect of the transformation.Build a deep knowledge of how the Bank operates and an understanding of the responsibilities of the Finance, Procurement and Recruitment function.Work proactively with key stakeholders across the Bank, in the business Central Services as well as the vendor of the new solution.Use a broad understanding of finance and corporate services as well as knowledge of ERP systems to configure the Oracle solution to maximise the benefits of new tools to strengthen reporting, governance and controls.Develop a deep knowledge of Business transactions and ensure mapping tables transferring the data to the ERP system are accurate and complete.Ensure interfaces with Business and other source systems provide appropriate drill down to source information and give access to all necessary and relevant detail.Coordinate cross-team working sessions for key decision-making and understanding and ensure agreement throughout the project life cycle.Work with the Finance teams, P&C, Procurement, IT and vendor to ensure a successful, smooth migration to the new solution.The Successful ApplicantEssential Criteria:Strong leadership and the ability to manage, constructively challenge, and potentially unblock senior stakeholders in the Bank and drive the ERP transformation forward.A strong leader who has recently been or is currently in a Senior Finance Leadership role with extensive ERP Oracle transformation experience in a leadership capacity.Led a successful delivery of a Finance Oracle transformation programme from both a system implementation and change management perspective in a complex environment.Deep understanding of interfaces mapping data between Business transactional systems and Finance General Ledger in a Banking or similar environment.Experience in data visualisation tools that can transform financial and other data into easy-to-understand information to help drive business decisions.ACA /ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with considerable post-qualification experience and a broad breadth of knowledge across all aspects of Finance.Experience working in a Financial Services environment and the issues facing the market.What's on OfferThis role is an 18-month fixed-term contract.The role will pay between £130,000 - £140,000 + bens.The full compensation package is approximately £180,000.ContactRutesh ShahQuote job refJN-082023-6144415Phone number+442072692314Job summaryJob functionTransformationSubsectorCorporateSectorFinancial ServicesLocationCity of LondonContract typeTemporaryConsultant nameRutesh ShahConsultant phone+442072692314Job referenceJN-082023-6144415
