Job Description
This a hands on Head of finance and will taking the lead on a number of activities such as:
- Financial control and reporting for this UK business unit
- Commercial insights, budgeting and forecasting
- Cashflow management
- Building and mentoring a team
- Statutory reporting
- Being a member of the leadership team and managing/building, coaching and developing a team.
- Developing overall business strategy to develop the business unit further.
- Adhoc process improvement projects
The Successful Applicant
- Senior Finance Professional with an accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
- At least five years of post-qualified experience in relevant positions
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to setup/improve financial controls and processes
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics advantageous
- Commercial mindset with proven business partnering and leadership skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (specifically Excel), able to interpret large amounts of financial data and draw meaningful business recommendation
- Proven track record of success of working within a commercially focused
